OVERVIEW

The Villarreal CF Virginia (VIVA) travel program is designed to provide a highly competitive playing environment and first-class training to girls and boys of ages U7 thru U19, and open age group for Men's UPSL team.  Players in the VIVA program will be trained under the Villarreal CF, Spain (LaLiga) training methodology, which is one of the premier soccer academies in Spain.

VIVA has direct contact with Villarreal CF, Spain on a daily basis. VIVA is proud to have the return of the Villarreal CF, coaching staff back at our club for 2023-2024 and beyond.     

TRAVEL PROGRAM

VIVA travel program includes:

• Fall, Winter training and Spring, (six weeks shut down over winter)
• 3 practices per week.
• League season games
• Participation in local, national and international tournaments
• Every year top players, seleceted for Villarreal CF, Spain tryout opportunity.

TRAVEL PROGRAM CALENDAR

Our travel program calendar is as follows:

Summer: Offseason

• Summer programs, VCF ID camps and VIVA camps

• International travel

Fall Season:

• League games

• 3 practices per week (See Practice Fields)

• Tournament play

Winter Season: Offseason

• VIVA teams participate at Indoor Soccer League

• Scheduled once per week on outdoor turf fields

Spring Season:

• 3 practices per week 

• League games

• Tournament Play

• International Travel

TRAVEL PLAYER IDENTIFICATION

Players will participate in tryouts based on their age group.  Players will be evaluated and receive an offer to be part of the team if selected. 

LEAGUES OF PLAY

Teams will compete in the UPSL, ECNL-RL, EDP and NCSL
